Jules, thanks, great looking plane. While I'm at it think I'll download BOB since I finally saw Monsters vs. Aliens today (I'm as slow and behind in my movie going as I am in my model building).

Many thanks, Jules! I've already downloaded and printed out the parts. One question -- is "U.S. COAST GUARD" on the left side of the fuselage supposed to be in a narrow font compared to the other side?

Pix can be sourced from AF Link AF.mil - Photos and many historical references (not just Herks) can be found at Air Force History Program Publications - Tactical Airlift and Gunship Development are both covered.
The definitive MC-130E book is at AU Press, books: out of print - Praetorian Starship by Jerry Thigpen (out of print but 14Mb download is still available).

What model do you want to design based on the anniversary?A Paper-replika paint scheme repaint of F/A-18 Hornet? or a Hercules plane?Or a SURPRISE?Since both of the models are beautiful,I don't doubt those will be repainted. Not to mention the German UFO is good to repaint too!

Really looking forward to the anniversary model.

Thanks,
Daus
