Jules, you are real jewel to the hobby. Thank you for all you have done for us!

And, it's good to see the real you.

That's an honor to me, thanks buddy. I just do what I like, just to be myself. I only reveal my face in this forum :D , I still scout trooper wannabe and still trying hard to have my own suit - from paper (lol)

Paper Replika Card Models by Julescrafter

I second that, Texman,

Thanks from me, too, Jules, for all the wonderful and unusual models that you have shared with the card modeling community. My favorites at the moment are the detailed models of the mysterious German WW II 'Haunebu Flugscheiben', i.e. the alledged armed Nazi 'flying saucers'. The latest model, the colossal 'Haunebu IV' flying saucer is a real jewel: http://paper-replika.com/index.php/M...aunebu-IV.html

I have just started to build the 'Haunebu II Dornier-Stratosphere Gerät', which has always been my favorite, ever since I read the stories by the late amateur astronomer George Adamski.

Keep up the good work, Jules, and thanks again!
Best,
Bengt :)

Thanks so much for all of the generous work you do for all of us. I love seeing the choices you make for your models. The air compressor and the meatball wagon are a couple of my favorites!

Always love a Herk! Real airplanes got props ...

Any chance of an MC-130E, MC-130H, AC-130H, AC-130U, or MC-130W recolor - got some old (and new) squadron commanders in mind for "gifting."

Pix can be sourced from AF Link AF.mil - Photos and many historical references (not just Herks) can be found at Air Force History Program Publications - Tactical Airlift and Gunship Development are both covered.
The definitive MC-130E book is at AU Press, books: out of print - Praetorian Starship by Jerry Thigpen (out of print but 14Mb download is still available).
