I remember the SnoCat from when I was little.

In those days they used to do the rounds of select Commonwealth counties and colonies when great things had taken place.

I was very small, but it made a great impression on me!

I got to shake Sir Edmunds Hillary's hand, and he signed a postage of a SnoCat with my name on and gave it to me. I still have it.

I then got to explore one of the actual SnoCats

After that I wanted to be an Artic explorer, and this obsession lasted for many years!
