Here’s my take on this model. It has been reduced down to 1/48 scale. Built mostly stock. I added one more section to the prop hub to bring the spinner out from the engine cowl. Toothpicks are inside the wing struts and in the float separation struts to provide strength. Straight pins are inside the float to fuselage struts to keep them straight and give them strength. I doubled up the nose wheel parts to give them more depth. Finally, I curved to bottom of the forward floats to give them a concave shape per the actual floats. Overall a nice, easy build that produces a colorful model.
