Anyone know this designer?
Found a 1:50 model of an LK II. I'd like to host it on Landships but I have no idea who the designer is or how to contact them. The only identifier in the model is on the title page - looks like a stylised "AVL 77". Anyone know who designed this model?
And...you don't escape without the context. The LK II was a German light tank designed at the end of WW1. There were some production tanks close to completion at the time of the Armistice. Some of these were smuggled to Sweden and became the Swedish Army's first tank - the Strv-21. A number went to Budapest where they were used in policing in the late 1920s. Regards, Charlie |

I am a little confused.
His blog/site is also linked to a webstore...he sells his paper model designs. https://vk.com/market-153087506 This particular tank model sells for 200 ruble. And yet, there is a download with the blog entry. (I just downloaded this model) Cover page, Parts, and Instructions. I'm guessing he sells printed copies...but sharing the digital file must deter purchases?

He does sell some of his models (inexpensively), and this one is still listed as a for sale model. However, on his recent birthday, he provided it as a free download for all his fans on several VK paper modeling community pages. To avoid confusion, he should have "taken down" the for sale sign. Sergey Kamotsky has done the same thing on more than one occasion. In fact, several of his models that I've purchased became free 6 or 8 months later. That's OK though, I'm happy to support these guys. 200 Rub is $3.55 at the current exchange rate. He takes paypal.

OK Charlie, I PM'd him, and gave him your email address. He replied that he'll consider it, and to thank you for your offer. I guess the ball's in his court now.
