Paperparadise was the site for Paper Air Force. It was a program that had a "hanger" with a number of flying models in it to print out. There was a demo version with 2 or 3 freebies available. I still have it somewhere, but don't know if it will still run on newer OS's. One of the freebies was a simple A-1, IIRC. I really wanted the A-10 back then, but couldn't afford the pay version.

KittyHawk Software has a 10 part plane that I enjoyed. It may be the one that people are talking about as Paperparadise. It is very hackable, and the air scoop needs hacking. It was free when I got it, but I have not seen it since 2000 or so. The copyright is 1997, the web page goes to a German packing company, now KHS – Filling and Packaging worldwide | KHS GmbH. Maybe this will ring a bell with someone.
