Yamaha Papercraft is closing

Hi all,

It seems that on September 30th, Yamaha will stop with their paper craft offerings.
I am unable to read the text that is in the banner, but from what I have been able to read on various paper craft groups on Facebook, it does sound like Yamaha is stopping with the release of kits

https://global.yamaha-motor.com/jp/showroom/papercraft/

Get your Bikes, Animals and pop-up cards now, they might not be available for much longer.

Rick

Here is the Yamaha Paper Crafts site in English with a translation of that banner:
https://global.yamaha-motor.com/showroom/papercraft/

Quote:
To Yamaha Paper Craft enthusiasts,

We began offering this content in 1997 and have enjoyed a loyal following, but the Yamaha Paper Crafts website will officially close on September 30, 2018

Thank you all so much for over 20 years of interest.

Hello Rickstef,

It seems there's an English version of the Website, and Yamaha does say they'll close the papercraft section on September 30, 2018.

https://global.yamaha-motor.com/showroom/papercraft/

Although I'm not into motorcycles, I do find their models inspiring because of how their designers made various parts. I see myself using similar parts in future (non-motorcycle, and non-automotive) models I'm planning -- like the curved tubing and radiator blocks -- and the pdf instructions show how to make and assemble them.

Cheers!

Smart man! Get 'em while you can. There's no absolute guarantee that the Wayback Machine will archive them all.
