Amazon Princess

I just ran into this on a pirate site.

The .pdo gives the author's name as "giden445"

Can anyone ID him/her or point to a legal download source?

It's a 45 page , Large, but not life size model. I still doubt that I'd be allowed to build it though. Dunno why, but the Mrs just ain't into this kind of Art. Of course, being strictly old skool, I'd prefer a Linda Carter or DC comic version.

Well, he doesn't claim to have designed it, just "edited".

What I understand is that the raw data of the model is originally from a game or such, he found the 3D/game file on the internet, and he converted it to PDO and edited textures.

Apparently he sends the PDO file to the email:

https://www.deviantart.com/giden445/...raft-758122394

So that would be "the original source". And the pirate site must have obtained it directly from him, or from some of the first people who asked for it.

That's a good model. The face is exceptionally good.

Agreed on that Kevin. It's exceptionally good.

It seems that Giden "Found" the design somewhere on the web, then couldn't resist editing and posing her ... and to my mind he's done an excellent job of it. Looking at the comments on DevArt, he has not actually published a download, but he's been giving it away to anyone that asked.

He hasn't given credit to the original designer/ripper because he doesn't know who it was. I'm wondering if it was this one ...

I picked this up a few years ago from Sabi96. He had designed it for a commission, but didn't want to build it. I was in hospital at the time and couldn't help. Apparently the design was meant to be life-size, and I've not seen any attempt at building it ... until now maybe.

If only my sore fingers were capable, I'd certainly be tempted to have a go at this one. It's half the size, and such a huge improvement in the pose. Already my brain is plotting to tell the printer to 'print to fit' each page on A3, and risk 'er indoors's wrath. Just maybe my fingers will cooperate with the enlarged pieces?

JohnM

If you have a daughter of that age, a grand daughter,... or neighbor has a daughter.. you could give it to them as a large paper doll.

Of course they might take the sword and shield and terrorize the little boys in
the neighborhood.

The 3D file can be found at the SketchUp Warehouse:

The uploader is called "Centaur". The model is beautiful, BTW.

Thanks for the information.

So it was an original 3D design, and not a rip off a game.

You can't bet on that. It might be a conversion of a game model in *.skp format.
