Engine le rhone 9c 1/33
The Le Rhône 9C was a 9-cylinder rotary engine produced in France by La Société des Moteurs Le Rhône of Engines in 1916. The "Le Rhône 9C" was a development of the "Le Rhône 7", a seven-cylinder engine, itself extrapolated the Gnome "omega" engine. With a power of 80hp at 1200tr/mn, legendary qualities of ruggedness and reliability, it was produced at more than 10,000 copies. It was widely used on French planes of the first world War: Caudron GIII and GIV, Farman HF20, Morane Saulnier type H, L, N, and P, Nieuport 10 and 21, Pioneer M1, as well as on British planes such as Sopwith Camel, Pup or S.E. 4.
