TOS Colonial Viper
This TOS viper is new to me,
‹ó‘z‰ÈŠw“IŽ†Hì (Scroll down to see a build, download on the left hand side) I like this one better than the other one at LLHV, no offense |

Thanks for pointing this one out.
Looks like a great version but simple to build. They can fancy-up the Vipers in the new series, but they don't have the military, utilitarian, kick-a** look of the original. |

I did like the new series, but the Mk1 Viper is still the best, Thanks for finding this.

I have built this one, and it builds smoothly and looks good completed. The only caveat I have with it, it is not as accurate as the one over at LLHV. Of course I did not discover this until have way through the build. Still it was a fun model to build.

J Leslie has one on his site as well. On THAT other Forum "Z", there are two build threads for the TOS, one by sjsquirrel and myself. I already built the jleslie48, before I found this one. I did a some research on this one and the original viper was destroyed in a fire in the MGM back lot studios a while back. I may do the tutorial on this site in the future. enjoy the model it is a well designed basic ship and is open for extra details.

Dont thank me, the model has been out a couple years but since I missed it though I used to hang out on that other forum alot I figured maybe someone else may have missed it as well.
Afterall, I have not seen any custom build thread to this one yet. I eventually did 'find' this model earlier this week on that other forum while Googling around, so the pleasure was all mine....... The new MkIIs have bigger guns, but otherwise look more like a racer than a fighter, and the MkVIIs, "if you cant say anything nice, the less said the better...."
