A great outcome, Peter. I was delighted to learn that much of Alan's architectural materials are in good hands and on display in the National Building Museum (which also used to host indoor flying model events in conjunction with the DC Maxecuters). I thought the article by Laura Knight was very well done.

Adolf,
This is the first I’ve heard of Alan Rose. That huge DC3, I suppose it’s impossible to get one now? Regards, Alan |

They turn up on Ebay from time to time. However, they tend to be pricey. There's one there now for $70 US plus shipping.

Alan Rose's DC-3 is in digital form at the download section of this forum. Digitizing work was done by Rubenandres77 and with Alan Rose's permission couple of years ago. There are few re-paints in different liveries also done by Rubenandres77. Go here.

Peter, I am so grateful for all the work you've done, and happy that the collection will be going to the Strong.
Someday I will visit the Strong. |
