S.F.A.N. II at 1/66 scale
Derived, under the name of "Planet ", from a glider designed by the British Aircraft Corporation in the early 1930s, then named "Drone" long before the time, this aircraft was built in France by the new Aviation company, the S.F.A.N. Some aircraft were built under the name SFAN 1, identical to the English aircraft, with a first flight to July 1935. Improvements were quickly made to the machine and the SFAN 2 was an important response to the needs of popular Aviation. About twenty SFAN 1 and as many SFAN 2 were built. Like my others models, this one is free downlable here: S.F.A.N. 2 - NOS BELLES "PLUMES" DU TEMPS PASSE. Best regards. Le Criquet |

Not primarily into aircraft, but this one definitely hits my "quirky" button. Another one to put into the digital stack.

Thank you. Another one that I will have to live forever to get to. So many sweet models and so little time.
