Cessna 172 at TSMC
The usual new year goodies at TSMC. For 2019, Miku-chan prepared a Cessna 172 model at 1:48, in three different liveries.

It looks like another excellent model from the Tokyo Club, with very thorough step-by-step illustrated instructions.
Both the U.S. and Japanese Coast Guard liveries are good looking. Thanks for the alert. Don |

Thanks for the link, might have to think about that one.

And just compare it with the very first version at the bottom of the page.

cfuruti - I'm not following you. The image at the top of the instructions is an in-flight shot of the two coast guard aircraft (Japanese and U.S.) in flight. What am I looking for and what am I to compare that image with?
Wayne - I know what you mean. I have an uncountable number of unfinished projects, including the last TSMC model of the Fuji T-2 that I couldn't resist starting and then got side tracked from, but this one looks so pretty and buildable, that I am not sure I can resist giving it a try. Don |

Don, if I may interject, I think cfuruti is referring to the -172 at the bottom of the download page,
and its comparison with the new version.

Ah, roger. I was looking in the instructions rather than on the TMSC splash page.
The Cessna 172 model is indeed much improved in all respects. Don |

And the white model is a very good idea!

BTW, the page with the downloadable models is not actually TSMC's splash one, just the Downloads frame. IMHO the best introductory page for TSMC is http://www.ne.jp/asahi/tsmc/net/; the main "Topics" table is about their monthly meetings, with a few breathtaking pictures - some even of paper models, like the recent T-3 (but at 1:154 scale!): http://www.ne.jp/asahi/tsmc/net/m-2018-11.html |

Many thanks for that additional information and for these links, cfuruti. "Breathtaking" models, indeed!
The recent TSMC model that I have begun, but am lagging behind on, is indeed the Fuji T-3, not the T-2. Don |
