okay, things have gone completely ridiculous now.

There is no way in this universe any self respecting alien would believe these are real.
Those are the most unrealistic looking models I have ever seen.

The streamers aren't even correctly positioned.

Thats just lazy model design.

I wonder why he designed it like that. He has other models that show great execution, but this one is definitely odd.

Thanks for posting the link. I hadn't been there for a while and that RX-7 looks interesting.

There's one thing that has come up a few times in this thread. Finished vs Unfinished. To me, any model can be detailed more and smoothed out, but 'Finished' means that the designer or builder is 'Satisfied' with the model at the point where they stop. I really enjoyed his CIWS model. His falcon was the first model I built that I threw away instead of giving away. My guess is that he is trying to design models for different skill levels and look like models of different skill levels, but I don't know

Dave - great cartoon. Foute Man - excellent!

But Dave, what do you mean the streamers are not correctly positioned? Not everyone may have your hand and eye coordination (especially if they have just witnessed a flying saucer).

You should also note the correct and realistic placement of all the bottle tops, which indicates the maker had advanced mathematical spacial coordination.

Lastly, I must tell you I thought these were the real thing and was getting quite excited, until you destroyed the illusion with the streamer comment. They certainly would have caused a panic in the 50's.

Space 1999? Captain Scarlet used other vehicles so not there, from memory. Perhaps Moonbase alpha?
