IJN Aichi Float plane 1:48 scale

Hi all,

Our friends over at http://www.papermodel.jp have released the first part of a 3 part model that will make a Aichi float plane in 1:48 scale.

Nice model - I always have had a soft spot for the Japanese floatplanes - they always look very functional and purposeful.

As you might expect, I am always glad to see another Japanese aircraft paper model become available.

The aircraft is an Aichi E16A1 Model 11 Zuiun ("Auspicious Cloud"), Allied code name "Paul"), Tail Number Yo-218 of the Yokosuka Kōkutai (Naval Air Group), which was a training and research unit located at the Yokosuka naval base.

And a huge thanks to you, Foute Man, for providing the translations. I can read a little Japanese and can use a kanji dictionary, but it would take me many days of effort to do what you did.
