Different Versions of Herschel and Planck

The Herschel and Planck observatories were built and launched by the ESA in 2009. Herschel was the largest infrared telescope and Planck mapped the universe (in VERY paraphrased terminology) by observing the cosmic microwave background. Both operated until 2013.

I was only familiar with John J's model hosted on Lower Hudson Valley Paper Model site.

But a recent conversation while researching another craft, turned up the following two satellites that might have someone interested in a different design. I hope you enjoy!

Cheers,
