NIEUPORT 17 G. GUYNEMER at 1/66 scale
After René Dorme's plane, I couldn't resist the pleasure of making a small series of Nieuport 17 in the colours of some of our Great French Aces of 1914-1918. Many of whom had one of their most outstanding airplane. The n°1531 "Vieux Charles IV" of Georges Guynemer is characterized by its enormous penetration cone (which penalized more the good cooling of the engine than to improve the smoothness of the airplane.....), and its banner "Vieux Charles" hung on the mast between left planes. As all my models, this one is free downlable on my site, here: NIEUPORT 17 de Georges GUYNEMER - NOS BELLES "PLUMES" DU TEMPS PASSE. Best regards. |
