Hee hee, being our Folk Club's special anthem, like, our members often made up extra verses about any visiting performers, each other, and general current affairs in the news. As Doug points out ... many of these extra verses were not for young ears, but as none of us wanted to go home and the Aloni Bar had no closing time, the song could go on for an hour or more. Aaaah, Famagusta, Maybe Varosha will be reoccupied and rise from the dust again, but I doubt I'll live long enough to see it.
