Thumbs up A4 card stock in the USA

I have been using this special high quality card stock ever since I lived in Japan. It is A4 size 160 gr weight. The quality of this paper is superb and provides great format for inkjet printers. Much better than the stuff you get at an Officemax or Staples and it is in A4 size so you can print many of the excellent files for this size.

Here is a link in the USA :

Note: You have to register as an individual before allowed to order, but that was easy and simple.

I just placed an order for 3 packs, so lets see how long it takes to get it ( I selected USPS ground shipment.

How does it work with ink jet? And do you know the thickness? At 160gsm, I presume it is around 0.2mm.

It would certainly be very convenient to have good quality cardstock in A4 size.

I have been using this paper for the past 8 years on my Epson and HP injet printers with great results.

All of my builds of Yoav's Israeli air force models in 1/30 scale were printed on this paper. The colors are crisp and vibrant.

I also like this 160 gr/m2 weight as it is easier to form.

and again, the size is A4 which many of our designers outside the USA place the models parts on.

I especially like the paper since it is dense constancy and very smooth surface.

Here is my order for 3 packs ( each is 50 sheets )

----------------------------------------------------------------------------
Product Total(USD): 49.11

Shipping Charges(USD): 11.78

Total(USD): 60.89

I suspect that the shipping cost is more or less the same if you order one pack or many.

Guys, 160 grams is a very good choice for paper modeling. I always use it when printing downloaded models. Thickness is 0.2mm. Also good to use is 120 grams for small parts and internal cockpit lining. For bigger parts 120 grams (0.15mm thickness) is too flimsy. Both 120 and 160 grams are widely used here in Europe, and easily available in any stationary shop.

Cheers,
Erik

Always good to have suggestions for quality cardstock from people who have actually used it. Got excited about this brand until I found out from this supplier that shipping to me would be just over $100.00 US dollars for one pack of paper . If anyone knows a Canadian supplier of this paper, please let me know.

Regards,
John

I just got the 3 pack I ordered. Same stuff I purchased when I was in Japan . This is the gold standard for printing models on! Crisp, vibrant, cuts beautifully and is a pleasure to work with.

Now I have enough for many more models and it is A4 size you can purchase in the USA and Canada.
