Thanks Doug,

I made their Milan Cathedral at 75% - I have a feeling that I'll be trying the same thing with Aachen.

I wonder why they went for Aachen - it's not one of the well known Cathedrals. I first heard about it when I was "looking into" Charlemagne.

cheers
Mike

I heard about Aachen and the cathedral during some history lectures in the late 1960's concerning WW2.

The Canon model pages look good. Lots of repetitive cuts and small parts, 'bout like many cathedral models.

I suspect they selected it because it's such a mixture of architectural styles and eras, from the eighth century to the nineteenth!
