progress a bit delayed by an earthquake

Design and construction is a bit delayed by an earthquake......

posted on sunday february 14th

.....This is a prototype version of the aircraft carrier "Gerald R. Ford" hull. Assembled with copy paper.
It was wrecked by a fallen object caused by the recent earthquake. I fixed it, but it was a little distorted. It is a success as a basic design.

also on february 14th:

.....I put the flight deck I made earlier. The total length is about 96 cm......

I've built his Kirishima and his CIWS.
When I saw his sunken Yamato, I was hoping that was a preview of a Space Battleship Yamato model coming soon.
And then I saw the actual Battleship Yamato instead.
I also see that UHU02 had started a Battleship Yamato as well. Although that model seems to be in limbo. I know he doesn't complete every model he starts.
Either way, I am still hoping someone will make a Space Battleship Yamato.
I know there was a commercial one made many years ago. And I've shopped for them on eBay, but I don't trust eBay enough to actually buy one. Not to mention they are usually outside my price range.
But I keep hoping.

Do you think there'll be a full air wing on it? Like 90 aircraft, or whatever it is??

Regards,
Alan

The other models (Akagi, Akitsushima and Akitsu Maru) come with aircraft, but not a full wing. My best guess it will be one model for each type, so it will be up to you to make the full air wing

I built Kirishima and thought it would look great with a helicopter on it - I’m just wondering if anyone knows where I might be able to get a 1:200 Merlin or Seaking or something like that?

Regards,
Alan

Bruno might have a Sea King in 1:300, I can't recall if he did any Merlins
