In my early days of Papercrafting, I "found" a copy of Space Battleship Yamato. But when I started building it I found the hull pieces didn't quite fit. Then I realized the scale of each page was off. Eventually I realized it wasn't something I wanted to continue building, even if I could adjust the prints because it was obviously not original.

I have seen copies of the same book on ebay that did look like original copies, but I never had the money to spend at the time.
Someday I'd love to get an original copy to build. Or wait for someone to make a new one.
I was a huge fan to Star Blazers! And really liked the 2010 movie as well.

Very nice.
This is the one I'm talking about:
https://www.ebay.com/sch/i.html?_fro...p+yamato+paper

The one from France seems more trust worthy to me.
It has an actual photo of the book in cellophane rather than just the cover art.

The designer just tweeted a link to a sort of Kickstarter he’s got:
https://camp-fire.jp/projects/view/167401
The reward is a 1/144 scale paper Yamato available for supporters only.

The base level to support and get a pdf is 3000 yen, which google handily told me is usd 27.70

Am I correct in that 183 cm is equal to about 6 feet? Not as good with metrics as I should be. I just thought the 1/100 Monitor was going to be impressive but this is right there because of the size.
