New model from Secanda
Hi all,
Some of you may already know about these wonderful models by 'Secanda' at [Secanda] Welcome among the paper models He has just finished and made available for download a model of the Church of Ste-Mère-Eglise. This is the church made famous by the paratrooper who landed on the roof and got snagged on a spire for several hours on D-Day. See the 'Longest Day' movie. A beautiful model in 1/100 scale and it's free. A major thank you to Secanda for his skill and generosity. Wyatt P.S. I also thank our friend in Brazil 'PaperMau' for his previous post that led me to Secanda's site. |

Your welcome folks, glad to pass it along.
Philip, if I'm correct, you've built a few already judging by your Flickr page. You've done some seriously nice builds. There are two models by Secanda that are one page models; Capela San Miguel de Celanova, built in 940 AD and Chapelle Sainte-Agathe de Langon. Simple, low parts count and fit in the palm of your hand. Enjoy! |

These look like fine paper models. I, too, have visited Sainte-Mère-Église (and have made a few parachute jumps at the St Sainte-Mère-Église Drop Zone at Fort Bragg, North Caroline).
Thanks for sharing this find. Don |
