Being a native Illinoisan, those are cool. Thanks.

Grew up just a few miles from the Thomas Lincoln home. Been there many times. I had no idea there was a model of it!

Those are really great buildings. I especially like the series of Main Street store fronts, which are of a style of early 20th century architecture that very much appeals to me. Some of them resemble buildings in my beloved downtown Carlisle, Pennsylvania, as well.

Thanks for this find, Joe.

Many thanks as well, from another "Illinois boy."
Built Lincoln's tomb some years ago, but had entirely forgotten about all the rest.
Not ambitious enough to tackle the old state capitol quite yet...but I do fancy the Great Western Depot.

Here in Brazil it is not possible to access the link directly. The message that appears is:

Cannot access this site. The connection has been reset.

I got it through Wayback Machine website. If someone is having the same problem, below the working Wayback Machine link:

That seems unusual. Do you think it is because the domain is dot GOV?

I really don't know. In the past, the Fiddlers Green website was also experiencing the same problem, today not anymore. Some Japanese papercraft sites featured at the Pepakura Gallery are also blocked to this day. It is a mystery to me.

18,009 posts... What???

That's somethng like an average of 4 posts every single day for 13 years.

Doesn't that merit some kind of recognition?!
