I am nearly finished with the first model (VW Amarok), but have some questions (I can't post images with the MacAir I am using while my PC is being repaired after the third crash and third computer in two years):
What are the wedge-shaped silver pieces and where do they go? What is the 12x29mm white rectangle and where does it go? What are the small white L-shaped objects and where do they go? Where does the set of controls (black knobs and levers) go? I hope to post images tomorrow or Thursday if I get my computer back. It might take longer if I have to buy a new computer and/or reinstall all the applications and so on. Thanks, Don Last edited by Don Boose; 12-01-2020 at 08:56 PM. |

Don,
Those are the drive line, the high side glued to the wheel axles, and the low "kind of" disappears into the frame/chassis near the middle

Thanks, Rick, but to which of my questions was that an answer? It sounds like it applies to the silver wedges. What about the white rectangle, the white L-shapes, and the set of nobs?

Yes, the gray wedges are for the drive train
The black levers are a trailer hitch The white L shaped pieces are the back bumper I am still trying to figure where that white rectangle fits

Many thanks. It all makes sense to me now (except for the white rectangle).

I looked up what Bayrischer Rundfunk meant. It is a Bavarian public service radio and television broadcaster based in Munich, Bavaria, Germany.
I wonder if that mysterious white triangle is some sort of spacer or a support to reenforce a part of the model. Where it goes, though????

It is not unknown for Volker to include some parts that have no apparent purpose, or that can be used with other models. So unless someone chimes in with an authoritative answer, I am going to put the white triangle side and press on. Should be completed tomorrow, by which time I hope I will have my computer back and will be able to post images.
The Minibus looks simple, so perhaps I will get the one done as well. Don |

You know what? I called that rectangle a triangle. Must be thinking of a three-legged stool or something.
