Some images I haven't before

A bulletin with some information about WWI era artillery, in French, with side view of the "avant train"

The gun is actually a 120mm de Bange - these were very similar to the 155mm gun

A tourist brochure of Fort du Mont with photo ov deBange 155 hauled by horses

-Le 43e RAC, 1914-1918 - René Verney un médecin normand dans la grande guerre (43e RAC, 74e et 24e RI)
Text, many photos, and side view plans of 155 deBange in tow

The drawings come from a multi-volume document on artillery officer education which is in the French archive gallica.bnf.fr. The original drawings are much better and not resized as these are.

Nope it's another 120mm - the ring around the muzzle is diagnostic.

I've had a couple of thoughts on the transport options for the 155mm de Bange. I'll ask Wayne if he's interested in pursuing them.
