Thanks for providing the links. That's one of those "not sure if I'll ever build it, but it's so nice better get it while I can".

The links in this thread are still active. So with a deep bow of appreciation to Master Uhu02 my next build will be his 2001 A Space Odyssey EVA pod. Model is composed of 12 sheets total, 10 parts sheets, a title sheet, and one page of photo instructions.

Here is the first page built up. The chair is hidden back on parts page 8. Lots of strange angles but everything fits together in the end.

The second parts page builds up into the interior cockpit ceiling. I opted to use joining strips instead of tabs for this section. Note the nifty ball end tools I found at A.C. Moore craft supply store.

The third page builds up to be the door. Once again, I used joining strips instead of tabs. I’m holding off final assembly until I figure out how the parts are supposed to be made movable.

The fourth parts page makes to exterior front half of the pod. Slow and steady wins the race on this section. Start from the middle and work towards the sides. I use a circle template to make sure the small round bits stay round during the build. I sort of wished I had added a layer of cardstock behind the front grill to make the cut outs a little deeper.
