Using your numbers, mine comes out to about 1/35th scale at just over 16 inches (406cm).

Hello Danoman, Welcome to PM dot com! Email sent.

Thank you Scott... good to hear from you again. Been in a funk the last few years, i'm sure you understand.

OKAY...!!! Let's get this started...!!!

I need opinions on those that feel that the graphics are missing and need improvement and what areas...

Personally, i think it needs to be scaled up to be a larger model... some of the parts are pretty small and just can't be omitted for it to look realistic.

It's an opening for those to say... hey, this part need to be improved. Tell me where...

P.S. This is SUCH a beautiful model when it's built...

Danoman...

Do you want a stand or a platform to mount it on that shows some type of visual effect...?

How much detail do you want, compared to simplicity of the build...?

Personally, i think this is the very best Eagle you can build with the minimal amount of parts and time that you can get without building 'tubes' for the spine... that's valuable time. I can make the paper look like tubes, to a degree but, it's not going to be the same as having 'actual' tubes.
I want to make this model as one that is in a multiple of sizes... a large that is 20"+ and one that is a mere 10". That way, one has the choice of the level of degree of how difficult 'and parts' that he/she has to do to make a living model of this Eagle.

I have 2 different launch pad models that would make good stands for an Eagle. That is, if the Eagle is reduced greatly, or the pad is built HUGE. One pad is my design, the other is from a 3d file that Gearz created and sent to me a while back. That one has the better texture.

Wow...

Cool... can you send me the large one to make pure textures on...? (if's okay with Gearz, of course...) scaling is easy. The textures are always better when working from a large model, of course...)

Send me the launch pads Scott... We'll see what we can do with them.

According to the Space 1999 site (Transporter Eagle Pages) the length of the Eagle ranges (depending on source from 76 to 102 feet - the latter being the smallest size that could accommodate the ceiling heights shown in the interior shots...that being the case an Eagle in 1/35 would be just under a metre long...
