PMI New Owner

Just happened to come across something of interest today. Paper Modelers International has been bought and is now up and running. I for one am glad of this, now there is more than a few choices for ordering from a retailer. They carry a large assortment of kits and he hope to expand the inventory as fast as he can. I hope him success. Models International.com. Rick

So you and others know, Lou Dausse sold the business to Mark Beard, but to this day, the site, PaperModels.net has not been updated or has been reopened for business, and is still the main internet site for PMI.

I am not sure about what the site is doing, but I can go too, select from about 40 ship kits, pick one, it loads to the cart section and proceed to check out. Now the only problem I am having is it will not accept my old log-in info, request I re-do? There seems to be more aircraft kits than anything else. I am not sure, but it looks like to me the system is trying to fill a order? But I am not sure, will take rickstef's word the site is not up yet. Would hate for someone to get fooled into thinking they can order from.:DRick

Mark is a regular contributor to the FG forums, and he said that right now he is still doing all of the FG models. Any of the other kits that are in stock are what was left over from Lou's big sale. Mark is working pretty hard on getting stock filled as quickly as he can.

Do they have a new site and the old site it is just an internet artifact? That happen some times.

Lala, the website and email remain from the old company. The only things that changed are the phone # and the address. Mark moved to company to California from Oregon.
