A New Trotskiy is Up: Fuchida'a Kate

A new Trotskiy is up, “type97a_v.17,” a Nakajima Type 99, Model 3 (B5N2) torpedo bomber, Allied codename “Kate.” It is an aircraft of the Akagi Naval Air group, tail number AI-301, piloted by Commander Fuchida Mitsuo, commander of the 1st wave during the Pearl Harbor attack.

By the way, I've found a fine resource on the Internet for what appears to be very accurate info on WWII aircraft by Michael Reimer. His site for Akagi aircraft is http://www.michael-reimer.com/CFS2/C...0AKAGI%5D.html and his home page is http://www.michael-reimer.com/CFS2/C..._Profiles.html

A Bowl of Trotskiys

Just to prove that I do occasionally actually build a Trotskiy model now and then, the photos below show (1) my office at the Army War College, (2) the window ledge of my office with my Asian Fighting Bamboo and bowl of airplanes, and (3) my bowl of airplanes.

Actually, I take the airplanes out when I use the bowl for ramyun, pad thai, vindaloo, or cereal.
