I would like to share with everyone an email I received from Ojimak in response to my efforts to contact him following the earthquake and Tsumani. I hadn't heard back from him until yesterday and thought his friends on this site would like to know he is okay.

"I'm alive. But I live in Fukushima. And there are nuclear power plants. Your e-mail encouraged me. Thank you. Japan is now a very hard time but I believe it would recover.
Japan is hoping for support from all over the world.
Please please help Japan.

Ojimak"

I know Ojimak is in my thoughts and prayers and I am contributing to some organizations which I think will provide the most help and relief to my friends in Japan, beyond those brave and selfless efforts of the US Navy currently on scene, as well as others around the world.

I hope our Japanese friends know many people the world over are trying to help them as to their immediate needs as well as in providing help in what they may need in the future given the potential enduring effects of some of the difficulties they are dealing with.

I know they are a people with wonderful resiliance and strength and know they will recover from the devastation which as befallen upon their island nation, but whatever help we can all render would certainly help and be very much appreciated.

I just thought you would like to know.

Cheers!
Jim

I'm really saddened by the devastation the Tsunami caused on Japan!
My heartfelt condolence goes out to all that has lost family and friends!

Legion, that is indeed a sweet model.
I should have used heavier paper though... It's rather flimsy with just 120gr/m^2 paper. There are some more pictures on my website's gallery.
