DAF trucks
Found these available on the DAF site: Paper models - DAF Trucks N.V. Didn't know that PACCAR (Peterbilt, Kenworth, Sterling) owned them.

Most of the truck manufacturers offer something along those lines for (cargo) body builders to reference. Over the years I've accumulated a few of the actual printed books for those. They make great model building references. If anybody is interested in doing some big rigs give me a pm. I might have some references you can use.

Something I have not noticed before is how to measure dimensions in a PDF file. The link in David's post has a PDF link on the right for a PDF that shows how to do that.

Do you know of any references like the DAF site for construction equipment?
I've got a few photos somewhere that I'd like to match up with drawings. |

Shame the DAF company stopped making normal cars... But these trucks do look nice!

Yes, i ment those. Of course, they should make something to compete with Dacia... Only (big) Dutch car company these days is Spyker, but they make bad/ugly cars, imho.

AS well a the DAF cars here in the UK we used to have the Hillman Imp which was superficially similar.
Back to DAF trucks. While there are kits of trucks their is a tendency towards 1:32 for the more modern examples and very little modern construction kit. I would like to se a cement mixer and cement pump on any chassis at 1:24. And just imagine the variety of Unimogs possible! David |
