Maly Modelarz Reprint 10-58 "Scud A on IS Tracked TEL"

Thanks to Mike Krol (Gremir Models) and his friend, Piotr Walo (www.model-hobby.pl), I have just received my copy of the reprint of Maly Modelarz 10_58, the "Scud A" missile on the ISU 152 tracked TEL. Scale appears to be 1:50.

These reprints are published by the Polish Defence Association (Ma?y Modelarz)

The booklet consists of 4 pages of assembly instructions with drawings and 6 pages of parts, crisply printed on good-quality 0.2mm white cardstock.

The model itself is fairly simple, but will likely afford an opportunity for super-detailing (I plan to build it in 1:35).

I was VERY MUCH IMPRESSED with the quality of the service that I received from Piotr. He accepts Pay Pal, and my kit, which was shipped from Poland on February 9, arrived in pristine condition by registered mail on February 18. Not bad at all!

Thank you both, Mike and Piotr! I am looking forward to seeing what the "Tractor Plant Boyz" will do with this one!

Nothing cheesy about the reproduction of this one, that is for sure. Printing production technique is all completely modern!

I am eyeing some 1:35 IS3 road wheels and tracks for this project; and am beginning to amass references........

Sounds interesting and look forward to the build, What surprises me most of all on that site you posted is 168 visits from Ireland, and i am sure I have not visited it 168 times. so who are these other 167 is what i wanna know.

We're OK down here, Jim, thanks...a good few hundred miles north and on another island...is pretty bad down there, much worse than the more powerful but deeper September earthquake...

Simon: Good to hear you are OK!! We had a 3.2 at 0647 last Tues, centred under the San Juan Islands SE of us. Pretty deep, but it sure sent the katz flying!!

Therefore, 43/35=1.22= enlarge at 122% for 1:35
