Now that's the kind of vehicle I'd like to have for personal transportation. That's if I can't get an LAV Generation III.

Have tried the LAV-3 - would much rather have the MAZ: the LAV3/Stryker chassis is getting a bit common these days...

I love these old models and hope that there is/will be a build thread somewhere...though...I'd go for scanning as well as it is so easy for dogs, grandtwins and wives to create catastrophes on a whim...

Nice find! I look at eBay occasionally and I'd have snapped that one up if I saw it. Looking forward to seeing it built.

Hello Rick,

a nice grab you made! The old Kranich models are beautiful and carefully researched and designed! They are now very rare - some of it goes near the 50 $ at the well known 4 letters house. At the time of the iron curtain they were published to influence our hobby politically, I think .. :D
For the Rallye Paris - Dakar those vehicles are very useful - a big fuel tank on the back ... but who pay the bill?

With lovely greetings
the Wilfried

It just seems the LAV is a bit more mobile in traffic. Also seems to be easier to point the thingy on top of the LAV than the one on the MAZ. You can also shoot more times with it, although with cosiderably less impact per shot. LMAO
