Ok, So it isn't the Modelik Scud Launcher

Hi all,

I found this kit on ebay, and I just had to have it.

The cover shows a date of 1961, but the rest of model looks like a 1970's model, and it came from the Former East Germany.

The scale is 1:50, and there are only a couple of instruction drawings to use, almost in the style of the czech style kits, and it looks that I can elevate the missile when it is on the launcher.

Not sure, but won't the Paris/Dakar folks think that's an unfair advantage?

That's very cool looking, are you going to build it? It would make a interesting thread.

Well now they would, but back in the 80's everything went, from CV2s to Rolls Royces, so why not a Maz missile carrier

Yes I am planning on building it, maybe in between racecars of my OTDAEABT entry

Neat Oh, I just love the old kits. I would scan that sucker, add to a collection sealed in plastic, and build the scan. You lucky dog.:D PS: sealed in plastic refers to the plastic comic book covers to store comics in, can find at comic book stores, helps to keep that prized kit in good shape.

Namesake,

I used to do the comic book routine.

I am planning on building this kit as is, no scanning

Rick......... please, please scan it first. Ya never know what can happen........ cats, dogs, kids, elephants, on fire flying stove, anything!

I'd sure hate to see you start and then have something happen and not be able to recover.......

Your paranoid friend.........

For my 2 cents worth I'd scan it and build the scan. You may want a fleet., or the dog might eat it. Mine has destroyed a few of my models.
