Yet another B-24

Yes you read it right, I have another B-24 kit.

I bought this kit, sight unseen, from Krys at paperscalemodels.com

I have scanned a couple of the pages so you can get a taste of the model

The cool thing about this kit is the bomb bay and the waist gunner stations.

You can see the bay and stations in the diagrams #1 and #3

And two shots of the parts sheets

The kit contains 3 pages of formers, 3 pages of instruction diagrams, and 9 pages of parts.

Unfortunately I can't make out who the designer is.

But from what I have been able to gather from kit, the model is based on a B-24 flown by a Polish crew, and was used in the supply drop role, and the aircraft is located in a museum in Warsau

Rick

Looks to be a very nice model. My dad {now in a better place} was brought part way home in one of these when he was POW in Japan, i recall he said that he had a go at the yoke and performed a bank with it which he enjoyed very much
