I spent the first half of my adult life (30 years) as an Army officer; then spent the second half (29 years) teaching at the U.S. Army War College, writing, and consulting. Since 2019, I have been working on the third half: building paper models, attending courses at nearby Dickinson College, doing a lot of reading, listening to music, nature walking, dining out with Lil, attending concerts and plays and operas, visiting museums, and keeping in touch with friends, family, and old colleagues.

Currently in the transition of ending a 35 year career in the Canadian Air force. I was a Tactical Loadmaster for 8 years and a Movement specialist for the rest. Spend my time hiking and working with the Rideau Trail Association with their newsletters as well as researching family histories for friends as well as myself. I fish , hike, bike, and enjoy traveling and photography..

My biking seasons goes on May till Oct and all other hobbies go on pause.

I'm a middle school STEM/Robotics/Shop teacher and cross country and track coach. I am halfway through my 18th year of doing the teaching gig. I'm taking classes for a second degree in industrial technology teaching. I also do a lot of woodworking, which is helpful as I teach that. I just got my first welder, so I will be burning some wire and joining the hard flat stuff now too.

I also enjoy playing guitar and singing in the band at my church and playing the occasional video game. I wish I had more time for modeling, but it has been sparse.

Artist, custom painter (auto, bikes, boats...), Mural artist, and failed rock star.
Licensed Auto Mechanic, show cars and Hot Rod builder.
Collector of toys, memorabilia and interesting things.
Now I'm 62, semi-retired, and waiting to hear about that filthy rich Uncle in England that I never knew I had.
Spend most of my time now on the computer...art, paper models and gaming.
Just became a Grandad.

Well, up until yesterday I fly big jets to small islands. Now, I need to grow up and get a real job. I’ve been working on a small home built car lately. And there’s always that darn gyrocopter in the back yard that needs fixin’ up. So just the usual stuff.

I collect toy trains, Pre WWII O gauge mostly and I belong to a group known as the Carquinez Toy Train Operating Museum. We are a non-profit dedicated to preserving and promoting toy and model trains. We have a large,35' x 40' layout and we host several events annually. Besides entertaining and educating the public, we have a lot of fun. We're located in Crockett California.
