yes I plan to have alot of interior details including the troop compartments and the flight station. plus a cargo compartment full of vehicles and equipment. I'll look into making the cargo doors open and close as well.

Good to see someone else engage in this sort of endeavour. Some time ago I tried to design and build this beast, but I failed in the undertaking: too big, too complex for my skill. I wish a better result than mine and you can understand with how much of interest I'll follow your work.

Best, Nando

Like Nando, I also fell into the Galaxy trap.

One point worth mentioning is this airplane has some very subtly curved surfaces. Three views give a false sense of security until it comes to fitting everything together (without benefit of modeling clay). This can take more time than an individual patience can allow.

I've taken a break after completing the airframe envelope shown. There is a massive amount of work required to finish - details like landing gear, loading ramps, interior detail, flight deck, wing flaps and propulsion units.

Wish you luck on this project and of course I'll be watching your progress.

-Gil

I've seen some of his work and the models he has built he has a lot of patience and I think he can do it.
