I am posting some photos of my latest model, a Medium C Hornet, in 1/48 scale. These were developed too late to see service in WW1, and not very much service afterwards for that matter. Still, an interesting design. I have seen photos of Medium C's with no markings at all, a few with the RAC flashes on the front horns only, and a few with names on the bow plate. There isn't a lot of variety among them, so I will publish one with RAC flashes and one without.

I am working on the instructions now.

Nice job, and a very interesting subject. It looks like a transition design to more modern tanks.

The Medium C was certainly a more ergonomic vehicle than the preceding heavy tanks. The engine was firewalled off from the crew and it used the epicyclic steering system that the Mark V tanks used so it could be driven by one man. The fighting compartment was apparently quite spacious and there was enough space in the engine compartment to make maintenance reasonably easy. The Medium B was the opposite, it was very cramped and it was difficult to work on. The lack of suspension was a issue for cross-country driving but that wasn't fixed until the Vickers Medium Mark I.

Not a serious question.... the resemblance to the “tank” in Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade is strong.

That was only the left trying to deny reality (again). The mental model I have of many of the left politicians is a modern day King Canute sitting at the edge of the surf on an outgoing tide having stuffed up reading the tide tables.

I haven't seen any problems with Landships II today - could be DNS issue in your local network. Might be fixable by moving DNS server IP to 8.8.8.8.

The Medium C model will be on Landships II tonight (my time)
