Fantastic job. The bridges have that ethereal appearance you see in Oriental paintings. Love the lanterns too. Where will you be selling these?

Thanks Don, Doug and Elliot

I am glad my admiration of the traditional Japanese architecture is showing in my models.

Elliot, I will sell them at OBS (drivethrurpg etc) like my other sets. This set should be ready soon. I am in the process of creating the instructions.

In the meantime I am working on a request to make the Tower optimized for 15mm.

Managed to get all parts for the top roof onto one page.

And then all parts for one level onto another page ...

The build went very smooth although the parts are all half the size. For the very small/narrow stuff some extra care was required for scoring and glueing, but it all went together quite nicely.

Comparison of the "big" and "little brother"

Hello Papierschnitzel,

Your work is amazing. The roofs of the buildings resemble the originals very closely. A long time ago I built the Himeyi castle published by Schreiber but the details you show here are by far of a higher standard, although it was a very pleasant model to build.

Thanks Erik

I do love all the high detailed models out there but know that not everybody has the time for these kind of builds. That is why I try to find the right balance between detail and ease of build.

In the background you can see the prototype of a real "curved" roof (which I will also implement at some time) but for now I am hoping that the easy/flat roof with the ornaments hinting at the curved edges will be sufficient.

You can get it here: Japanese Garden: Bridges and Lanterns - Papierschnitzel | DriveThruRPG.com

Hope you enjoy it!
