WOW! That is a very beautiful model. Nice job. Also, you did well capturing it with your camera. I just finished reading Walter Lord's book Incredible Victory about the battle of Midway.

excellant work. Is this the Butch Ohare plane or the Jimmy Thatch? Halinski has the same model (same author) and does one ace while Maly did the other. I can't remember which was which.

Another excellent model! I have the Halinski version, and, if as Ted says, it is the same model, I now have an idea of how it might turn out. Ted, I think the Halinski model is Thach's plane -- I seem to recall the cover describing Thach's three-kill sortie at Midway.
