Amazing! Did you actually cut out the strings from paper, or did you use string? Either way, wow

Thanks!
Yes, the strings as well as everything else on the model are paper. They were cut very thin and saturated with CA glue.

CA glue! I never would have thought of that. I've had a different version of the Tele on my computer for months but have been freaked out about doing the strings. Great idea, and again, excellent build!

Thanks, everyone. It was a very pleasant build. My wife and I are visiting our guitar-playing daughter in a couple weeks. This is for her- I can't wait to tell her I'm bringing her a vintage Telecaster!
Cheers!

Hi Bruce, I just found your Tele in the forum.
IŽd like to ask, what kind of paper did you use for printing?
And what did you use for coating the guitar?
Amazing model, really !!!
Greetings from germany,

Stephan

Hello, Stephan,
I printed the model on standard 110 lb card stock from the department store, and also on plain printer paper so I could use thinner paper where I needed it.

I carefully cut the strings and coated them in CA glue (super glue) and then coated the finished model in clear acrylic spray paint (several coats). I always use that for coating the paper before I assemble as well.

Thank you for the kind words.
