Lady

As Phil said, no download available, except the photos in the gallery. I did not know where to post my work on the forum, I intended first to do it in "kit review" but I was afraid of being sacked away by the moderators. There should be on this forum a special section dedicated to such works, aprart from the classic kit reviews.

That is the kind of stuff that belongs in a museum or art gallery. Imagine a scene set up outside the building with papier mâché people having their tea.
Looks good, thanks for the effort.

Looks like a scene from Henry James's Portrait of a Lady, probably Isabel Archer's "Crazy Aunt Lydia" having tea in the garden of the Touchett estate outside London.

A very impressive achievement, Renaud!

I was joking about that "free download" Renaud. You posted in the right place.
This is a true work of art and it belongs here!
I am very impressed with your work!
Thank you for sharing with us.

Thank you Renaud for the explanations and additional pictures. You have created a wonderful sculpture and even though I now partially understand how she was made, when I look at her I am still enchanted.

Thank you for honoring us with your beautiful creation. I am eager to see any further developments in your work. Won't you please share them with us?

Your paper lady is a wonderful creation. You are truely an artist. Maybe there should be a paper sculpture category just for beauties like her.

merci

Gallery announcements is a fine place to post this very nice looking model of a lady.

I feel that the 'other models' sub-forum of the model builds would also be the appropriate place for 'alternative' paper models, including both subject and construction methods (scultping, paper mache, etc).

Reminds me off Duane Hanson's photorealist sculptures only with a more etheral feel. Amazing workmanship.

Amazing work!!! I thought paper modelers tend to stay away from figures and sculptures but I was wrong......... I'd like to see more work in this style and possibly sharing some of the in-progress pictures too?

Beautiful Work...,

Renaud,

You are an artist of the highest stature. Modeling transcended into a stunning work of art. Madame Papier captured at tea in Monsieur Matisse's Garden...,
