Halinski, German Battleship Scharnhorst, 1/200
Dear all,
the last two days I presented you two planes, the English Electric Canberra and the McDonnell F-101A Voodoo. Today I present you something special: My first ship published by Halinski! More information about Scharnhorst can be found here and here. A building report can be found, as usual, at kartonbau.de. Unfortunately the thread is like most threads there in German. Nevertheless the pictures should be self explaining. The model consists of approximately 2000 parts; a kit review may be found here. Additionally, I used laser cut railings and barrels, both purchased from GPM. The edges were colored using Faber Castell crayons. The model has a length of 118cm (46.5"). I'm sorry for not providing the best images - sometimes I had troubles with the focus. Cheers, Old Rutz

From what I can scan here at work it looks great - will definitely check it out closer when I'm at home and the boss won't be upset that I'm surfing all day
