The model is very good, precise fitting, nice colors, detailed but not <overtuned>, fun and pleasure to build. |

I am a huge fan of the Bf-109 (my favorite fighter aircraft) so this definitely got my attention. I really like the Swiss lines on this and the canopy (is it vacuumed formed?)
Great job! -RunwayOneSixRight (Matthew) |

Very nice build, wanni. Looks like it took the scale-up well. Was it 1:50 or 1:33 originally?
Like the Swiss livery, too. Joe

Thanks, Wanni. Again, very nice!
Joe PS: is there info on these planes in Swiss service. Was it post WWII, captured, or somehow purchased and used during WWII, which would seem to violate neutrality? Just a thought that came to mind.

Joe,
the awiss air force had bought in the late 1930 some Bf-109 D. After the <Emil> was available, the swiss bought 50 Machines. So the swiss airforce was a normal customer of Messerschmitt's planes.... The picture is from wikipedia and is GNU |
