German SAR Boats in 1:500 as Chrismas ball
Hi everybody !
I want to show you my German SAR Boats. Last year I began to build the "John T. Essberger" from Peter Brandt. I made as Christmas tree ornaments ! |

This year, I then built the "Rickmer Bock" (from Deutsches Schifffahrtmuseum, Bremerhaven), once with ball, even without but always with coxswain!

Recently then the "Berlin" from the Passat publishing house was finished.

Looks like clear plastic balls that can be opened. Seen them in Xmas ornament shops.

Hello everybody !
I would like to briefly say something about the plastic ball. Yes, they are from a Xmas ornament shop. They are available in different sizes and you can open it in two halves. And they hold the model safely, thats corret Finally I show our Christmas tree .. See you and greetings from Germany Rado |
