HMS Iron Duke Modelik 1:250
Well friends, here is the next model. It is the flagship of Grand Fleet at the battle of Jutland (1916) HMS Iron Duke. There are not so many British ships from WWI available and I have built the model from Modelik but in 1:250 scale what went well again. Although I heard some rumours about bad construction of this kit I only can confirm that it is well constructed. Only the hull was not so easy. I made some modifications (boat cranes and platforms) as I wanted to build her in the appearance at the battle of Jutland.
I hope you will like the old British lady. Regards Gerd |

This looks great. I have this model too but have not built it. Where did you get your references from to make the revised details?
