Chris,

nice going on the Subie, I have a couple of them printed, but nothing has been floating to the top of the build pile lately, I might have to stir the pot a bit

Klingon Bird of Prey - 1:1700

Second model in my 1:1700 Trek fleet - a foe for my 1701-A. I used the 110m variant of this ship since this is one of the Trek ships that has been shown in inconsistent sizes.

USS Hood from Star Trek XI - 1:1700

Another beta build for Paragon - one of the many ships that was destroyed in the new movie. It has about 10 seconds of screen time but is the first ship you see after seeing the new Enterprise leaving dock for the battle against Nero. I did the bussard collectors wrong on this ship, the red part was supposed to be inside-out in the front of the nacelle, and the round cone up front inset further in.

Early Romulan Bird of Prey - 1:1700

Another 1:1700 scale ship for the Trek fleet. (Noticing a pattern?) This was another beta build, this time for Sidewinder. This was an incredible design for being designed in Photoshop (no 3D modeling), and was his first design to boot!

USS Enterprise - NCC-1701 - ST:XI - 1:1700

Another great Trek model by Paragon - a release version this time. Probably my last from this movie (back to canon for me). It came out quite nice IMHO, though I probably should have made the nacelles a bit closer together.

Kampfflieger's OH-6A Cayuse Helicopter - 1:72

A buddy bought a copy of this from ecardmodels for my birthday last week. It was a quick build and resulted in a nice little model.

Build thread here: Kampfflieger's OH-6A Cayuse Helicopter - 1:72

I also repainted this model and the 1:48 version to a black scheme per request over on Zealot. The repaint is available on Ecardmodels.com under the designer name cMags cardModels.

Being an '04 GTO driver, you actually take a step down in my book finding out you are a Scooby driver, but it's a nice model anyway

Aww, well now that ain't fair, now is it? :p I actually drive the '05 Impreza Outback Sport (OBS) - I got it back when I lived in Boston because I needed something that could:

  1. Handle winters between Boston and Northern NH (AWD)
  2. Carry a lot of gear (wagon)
  3. Carry my kayaks (wagon + roofracks)
  4. Tow my trailer (2.5L N/A engine vs the 2.0L turbo on the WRX - more low end torque)
  5. Not get SUV gas milage (30ish isn't bad)
  6. Easily modifiable, esp. for sound/electronics
  7. Fun to drive (well ok you can fault me there)
The OBS was everything I needed, nothing lacking. This is she:

Now back to your regularly scheduled modeling.... :p

Oh yea, I do at some point plan on modifying that '04 WRC car into my wagon. It may take a bit of doing but I can't find a wagon out there so I'll have to make one.

My wifes car is the functional one, mine had to be comfortable and fun to drive. You understand that the Suburu / GTO rivalry is on par with the Yankees / Red Sox, so I couldn't let it slip without some comment, right
I like the dragon model, pretty cool - and the BSG stuff is making me think about digging out my plastic Cylon Raider model

That's funny. I'm not sure I've heard of the GTO/Subaru rivalry. Must be a GTO thing - from the Subaru side the SRT4 and EVO X are the main rivals. :p

Plastic raider? Why not build Jaybat's paper raider? (Though I suppose if you already *wasted* money on the plastic one, might as well not let it sit... :D)
