@ Don - the picture with the pencil drawing has a fair resolution but some "tricks" are not visible. To draw ellipses and other non-circular curves, I used to calculate point coordinates, mark them on paper and link by hand. The points remain visible “under” the continuous line. I'll try to show them up on other planes... |

@ Papermate - I use quite ordinary black sewing thread. It is very slightly elastic and keeps straight for an almost indefinite period. I had some cases where part of the rigging lost tension due to paper settlement with time. It is not really visible on the plane but the effect on the rigging is obvious! |
