@Richschindler: Thank you!
@Herky: I do not disagree with you all in all but the ELBE HIGHWAY is not just an ugly shoe box as I think, not to large as model, with bright colours and with a very interesting prow which will not be so easy to be build as a model as you can see here. I still hope I will try one day... |

Hello to all,
I have finished two more tugs, both in 1;250 scale. The first one I have shown before but needed at least nearly one and a half years to complete. It`s the SATURN of HMV, constructed by Imogen Stowasser who today has ist own label called Kartonwerft. |

The second one ist the WEGA which formerly was in service together with the SATURN for Hapag-Lloyd and was also painted in orange and white. Today she is a museum ship in Rostock. The model is published by a private association which conserves the ship.
The model is constructed in 1;200 and described as simple and abled for beginners. I rescaled it to 1;250 and added some more details. |

Very neat model! Such tiny pieces. You must have a lot of patience

Not more than others, I think but I am taking more and more time instead of hurrying. Tug boats are not to large and although they are detailed to a certain degree, they are not to complex and you will get a nice model within a period of several weeks or months.
